Shannon, a personal friend of my daughter, discussed what she could do with respect to selling my condo in Lake Oswego. Her services included a Virtual showing of my condo, personal showings, and an open house. Before the open house could be held, the third day the condo was officially on the market, it received six offers before Shannon cut off the availability of the condo for sale. All of the offers were substantially more than the listing price which was also more than I paid for it approximately eleven months prior to listing the condo. Everything went so smoothly. I met Shannon Janssen back in August, 2023, while looking for a REALTOR. I was immediately impressed by her confidence, dynamism and knowledge, and I chose her to sell my home of 22 years even though her company, Coldwell Banker Bain, is not the cheapest. She worked tirelessly to set the home up to look its best. We agreed that we would bring in a company to renovate the house in a major way prior to the sale. This generated some problems, but Shannon was very proactive finding solutions and pushing the process along. I could not have done this without her. She managed to be both insistent and polite, as well as good-humored and understanding. The varied problems and unexpected findings we encountered (there were many of these) did not in any way faze her. I can report that the house sold at the asking price within a week of going on sale at a time when the market was cool. I would without reservation ask her to sell any house I wish to sell in the future, and I whole heartedly recommend her to those looking for a realtor.

I see lots of 5-star reviews for Shannon here and this one will be the same. Our experience in the real estate world has been, the realtor or broker we worked with asks what we're looking for. They then ignore what we're looking for and send us a lot of what they want to sell (usually a higher price than our budget). We then ask about specific properties. They take us to 3 or 4 while sending still more properties they want to sell and finally they tell us to let them know if there are any properties we'd like to see, in the meantime they add us to their "blast email" distribution list so we get countless properties their company wants to sell leaving us to do all the work of finding properties we can send them that we'd like to see. Or in other words, other realtor/brokers had us do their job for them while they waited to sell us something we'd found. Shannon is not this at all. She continued looking for properties and setting up showings over and over and over. Sure, if we found something we wanted to see she would set up those showings too but she was always searching and sending over prospective properties that matched what we wanted to see and were within our budget. We were living 2.5 hours away from Portland on the coast so driving to the city to see properties was tough. Shannon did several virtual showings with us helping us to avoid the long drive. Finally, one day, we had come to Portland to view several properties Shannon had found. None of them fit and Shannon smiled and said she would keep looking. We left the city feeling discouraged and were about 30 minutes into our drive when we got a text from Shannon. She had found a property that was, for some reason, not showing on the real estate websites and it looked perfect. She put her after-work plans on hold and we turned around and came back to look at the property. It was perfect and we bought it and love it. Shannon worked and worked to find us our dream home and was such a pleasure to work with while she did it. There are no other home sale professionals who will work harder while being fun and delightful, to find you your new home. I cannot say enough good things about Shannon and the work she does.
